About Seasmith

Having surfed and worked on Cornish coast for over 20 years I am constantly amazed by the changing light and qualities of the water and waves. With new waterproof digital cameras such as the one I use (Pentax Optio WP 5.0) I find I can tuck the camera up the sleeve of my wetsuit and swim or surf taking pictures as the opportunities arise.

I began taking these images in summer of 2005 and have been fortunate enough to start selling prints through various local outlets. My intention really is to provide really high quality interesting images of the sea and coast simply framed and for a reasonable price.

I have no formal training as a photographer but by being in the right place at the right time I have found I have been lucky enough to capture some of the things I see that I find so mesmerising.
